"LISTEN TO THE MAN
NEAR" it is the theme of an artistic performance with audience which took place on Wednesday, February, 28, 2008 at "Cupola" art
Galleries in Iasi achieved by the Iasi artist Dorin Baba. In the course of two hours the audience together with the artist
witnessed a unique artistic even in which 2 big dimension pictures drew by themselves, the artistic event being unrepeatable. The
works represented characters we were suggested they were listening, seeing and monitoring us. This project theme is a
social-political one regarding the sputtering telephone, personal communications surveillance, starting from the premise that each
of us is considered by authorities we might be delinquents.
Several things and actions sustained the theme of the project and suggested the what Romanian people receive laws ond ordnances
which limit human rights and liberties. By this project, the artist pursued the large public availability and interest in
contemporary fine arts as well as for the themes approached by them.
